Backbends, Bandhas & Inversions: Forearm Balance
Pinchamayurasana, or feathered peacock pose, is a demanding combination of backbend and inversion. This workshop will focus on shoulder alignment and prep. We’ll touch on uddiyana bandha (abdominal lock/belly suction) and prepare the hips well for working deeper backbends. This will also be a great prep for the Handstand workshop to follow on September 15th.
A regular vinyasa practice is recommended, but modifications are welcome.
