Love this spot!! They have the most amazing meditation workshops - my friend invited me to one a couple years ago and I've never looked back since. The women's change room can be a little chaotic but it's not a big deal. Beautiful studios, very skilled teachers. I recommend it to anyone!Elizabeth P

Moksha Yoga Uptown strives to offer something for everyone, whether you’re into yoga, hot yoga or pilates. Our backbone is the Moksha series: Each Moksha class is cardiovascular, and it strengthens, loosens, and tones the muscles. The heat allows for deep, safe stretching and detoxifies the skin, blood and muscles. All levels always welcome…
If hot is not your vibe, you can try out a Hatha class for some stretch and movement, a Yin class to get into your deep tissue and fascia, Vinyasa to get the blood pumping, Pilates to strengthen your core, or a Restorative class to reset & relax. We also offer a variety of specialty classes, such as Jock Yoga — Read below to learn more about each class we offer.
Wondering about our age guidelines? 14 and under: We maintain our adult classes at 14+ to ensure the integrity of the class for the instructor and other participants. In cases where students younger than 14 would like to practice yoga, please reach out to our managers to request information about specialty kids & teen classes. Ages 14-15: Teens aged 14-15 can attend all of our classes, provided they are accompanied on each visit by a parent or guardian. This means they cannot practice alone, without their parent or guardian in the room with them. Ages 16-17: Young adults aged 16-17 may practice at the studio with parental consent, primarily issued on our waiver form. Alternatively you may call the studio and provide consent for your own child, or a child you are guardian of. Consent only needs to be provided officially once. 18+ is the age at which anyone can practice in our studio without external consent.
The Moksha Yoga series is a dynamic system of postures and breathing exercises specifically designed to be practiced in the heat. Moksha classes are intended to open, strengthen and detoxify the entire body.
Moksha + Yin is a blend of the strength-based portion of the Moksha series and a blissful Yin portion to end off the class. Yin is a style of practice where deep and gentle stretches are held for extended periods, up to 5 minutes per posture. It’s a great way to open up tight hips… More details
Moksha Fit is a fun and challenging full-body workout that combines elements of yoga and Pilates into a high-intensity, low-impact sequence. This class is practiced in a non-heated room, but come prepared to sweat! Whether you’re a beginner or high-intensity athlete, Moksha Fit is designed to suit and adapt to all levels.
A high energy yoga class that feels like a dance – linking movement with breath – often branching out into creative sequencing of postures. This class is offered heated and non-heated and at varying levels – check the schedule!
A yoga practice designed to promote balance, flexibility, strength and connection to breath. Suitable for the beginner and intermediate student who prefer a slower paced class, focusing on form and alignment of postures.
Restorative yoga is a gentle practice for stress relief, anxiety and depression. It is the centering of your breath and body – aligning the physical and mental by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time.
Yin Yoga is both a gentle and challenging yoga practice. Poses are held for 3-5 minutes, stretching deep muscle tissue and fascia. All poses are seated or reclined. The slower nature of this practice is often described as a “moving meditation”. A great compliment to your regular practice.
Jock Yoga is a contemporary alternative to a more traditional flow yoga class. Without requiring extreme flexibility, Jock Yoga is targeted toward the needs and strengths of the athletic individual and will help you build strength and endurance in your yoga practice and other physical activities.
Inferno Pilates is a fun, challenging, full-body, low-impact, high intensity workout using Pilates principles. Performed on a yoga mat and towel in a heated room with energetic music, Inferno Pilates is an amazing workout that strengthens muscles and burns fat without the pounding of a high impact workout. All fitness levels welcome!
Fusion combines the focused strengthening of Pilates with a bit of yoga and functional movement. Expect lots of burn for your core and some time to stretch and balance it all out. Practice will be vigorous but accessible, with lots of modifications offered. Some experience with yoga is recommended.
