Matthew was led to yoga through his work with dogs. Their innate connection to breath inspired his exploration of meditation and later: yoga.
He took his first class at Moksha in Montreal in the fall of 2010 and has been committed to the practice ever since. His studies in Human Relations at Concordia University led him to get involved with community work, and this appreciation for community is what drew him to the Moksha teacher training in the fall of 2012.
Since completing his training, Matthew has been teaching, playing music and traveling. When you see him, share a story, and if you see him in the corner of the studio with his guitar, get ready for the sweet sounds of your yoga class!
