Erin Christine Plenert

Erin Christine had been practicing yoga for years before she moved to Toronto and stumbled upon the Moksha Uptown community. She adopted the studio as her home away from home and has never looked back! Being far from friends and family, Erin Christine found a sense of peace and belonging in her yoga practice. With a deeply personal understanding that the practice of yoga can extend far beyond the physical, Erin Christine completed both her Masters of Public Health and her Moksha Teacher Training in 2009 and has since gone on to complete both a Vinyasa and Restorative yoga teacher training. Currently, she is devoting her time to exploring the connections between her passion for yoga and her professional background in Health Promotion as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Heme/Onc department at The Hospital for Sick Children, where she is running a study looking at the impact of yoga on cancer-related fatigue.
